For over fifty years, the Artificial Intelligence Technology and Systems Group has applied its deep technical expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, speech processing, signal processing, and graph processing to discover, create, and deliver some of the Nation’s most impactful speech, language, and cyber technologies for national security. The group serves as the Nation’s “go to” technical resource in these areas and has been recognized at the highest levels of the government. This is an amazing opportunity to join a group that has had unmatched impact, work on teams with distinguished colleagues, and be in on the ground floor in exciting new areas. We seek a candidate with experience in the area of natural language processing (NLP) to work with our team on research, technology development and transfer, and applications in end-to-end artificial-intelligence systems.
Some of the group’s NLP research and development (R&D) efforts include authorship attribution, text generation, entity and relation extraction, low-resource language processing, content authentication, auto-summarization, style transfer, and explainable AI.
