We are looking for a driven consultant who, together with 35 colleagues, can offer our clients a unique perspective on how data and analytics can transform and improve their entire organization. You like to think along about tackling complex problems and offering solutions to leading clients in the financial sector.

Within the Data & Analytics department, we help companies transform into smart organizations by unlocking the hidden value of data. All possible facets of Data & Analytics are discussed. Think of: dashboarding, process mining, data science, machine learning, data strategy, data governance, master data management and data quality. But topics such as artificial intelligence and the internet of things are also covered. At Data & Analytics we work in an international team and we are broadly trained to help both national and international customers. We use data to solve the most difficult and urgent problems, realize innovative products and create new opportunities for ourselves and the customer. Our team falls under EY Tech Consultancy and is currently one of the most important pillars within EY. Globally, one in three employees work in Tech and EY has more than 50,000 Data Scientists!

What you will do - How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?

• By using the latest technologies in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning you help customers to make predictions and analyses. Your main duties and responsibilities include:
• Data pipeline design and implementation: Creating efficient and scalable data pipelines to collect, transform and store data from various sources, while maintaining data integrity and reliability.
• Data modeling and analysis: Developing and implementing data models and algorithms to extract valuable insights from complex data sets, using statistical techniques, machine learning and data mining.
• Performance optimization: Optimizing data storage, retrieval, and processing systems to improve query performance and reduce latency, using technologies such as distributed computing, parallel processing, and caching.
• Machine learning model development and deployment: Design and build machine learning models, run experiments, and deploy them to production environments, while maintaining model accuracy, scalability, and interpretability.
• Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical expertise and business understanding.

What we are looking for - Where do you start if you want to change the world?

• An MSc degree in (Business) Information Management, Business Administration /Economics, Organizational Psychology, Econometrics or another comparable study
• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position or field
• Excellent command of the Dutch language in word and writing
• The ability to recognize issues such as compliance, market developments and emerging technologies
• Fluent in one of the programming languages (Python, Java, C++, R or equivalent)
