Responsibilities:

  • Create HIL test strategies, test cases, and scripts based on internal, cross-functional, and regulatory requirements.
  • Set-up test equipment and run hands-on tests.
  • Work on setups to allow highly automated software release testing
  • Generate and document test results and publish to respective stakeholders.
  • Perform weekly SW release testing and sign off on test reports. Report bug tickets to respective DREs.
  • Establish traceability using requirement management tools and version control.
  • Perform test data analysis and trace failures to correct subsystems and work with cross functional development teams to identify the root cause and solve them.
  • Maintain HiL benches and make sure they are running 24x7. Upgrade benches for next-gen products.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience
  • Experience in automotive or similar applications
  • Test development experience with Python and test scripts
  • Automotive communication networks knowledge (CAN, FlexRay).
  • HW/SW Hands-on approach: Proactively identifies and fills in gaps where needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
  • Good team player with great communication skills
  • Passionately motivated to take ideas from development validation to a verified product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Test development experience with Mathworks tools such as Simscape, Simulink, Matlab, Stateflow and National Instruments LabVIEW is a plus.
  • Experience with Hardware in the loop developing platform in dSPACE or NI veristand is a plus
  • Experience with test automation tools like Tracetronic’s ECU-TEST, Automation Desk
  • Experience with Vehicle and Self Driving Sensors validation and modeling (Radar, Lidar, Camera, USS, GNSS.. )
  • Experience with Vehicle controls testing, particularly around electronic brake assist, electronic steering, torque management control, ride dynamics
  • Experience with test automation like Pytest, ECU-Test, or AutomationDesk
