Job Description

The Business Insights Strategy Team is responsible for the definition and execution of actionable data science and analytical projects that inform multiple Executive Leadership Teams (e.g., Digital, Data, Global Marketing, Business and Commercial Banking, Investment Banking etc.). Our team partners with stakeholders in a consulting-style environment that places a premium on creative problem solving and stakeholder interaction.

The role works on strategic, highly visible initiatives and sets the analytical roadmap across all Business and Commercial segments – a key growth area at Bank of America . This is unique opportunity for an experienced practitioner in data science, analytics, and econometrics to work with cutting edge big data technologies and methods to address the broad range of challenges faced by the enterprise.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of extensive data analysis experience with a proven track record of operating, independently making decisions in uncertainty, demonstrating creativity, and delivering results to clients (e.g., consulting, modeling, data analysis). Experience at top tier analytics consulting firm is a plus
• Thought leader in data science and analytics who can define analytical agenda for projects, demonstrates ability to frame ambiguous business questions into analytical plans (e.g., assessing data needs, evaluating quality, synthesizing deliverables, etc.), has strong Interpersonal skills with experience driving action based on data-driven insights. 
• Influencer with great interpersonal skills and proven ability to achieve alignment across a range of different views and interests
• Excellent communicator able to convey complex information in an understandable, compelling, and persuasive manner to senior executives. Experience turning vague concepts and asks into well-documented and effective business metrics and storytelling through the data insights.
• Experience working with large data sets and visualization tools to conduct analysis, produce charts/graphs and reports/slide decks in a support of client engagements.
