Job Description
- Must possess 5+ years of experience on Hadoop ecosystem
- Strong DB SQL skills on multiple databases is a must. Must have worked any ETL processing involving large volume of data. Should be able to develop complex queries
- Hands on Hadoop and the Hadoop ecosystem required – HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Impala, PySpark, etc.
- Should have good Knowledge on Hadoop Cluster Architecture
- Experience developing application using Big Data, Kafka, Cassandra, Apache Spark and related areas
- Implement complex data processing algorithms in real time with optimized and efficient manner using Scala/Java
- Knowledge of any one of the scripting languages, such as Python, Shell Scripting, PERL etc., is essential for this position.
- Solid understanding on OOP languages and must have working experience in core java
- Experience working with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra
- Experienced in shell scripting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Desired Skills:
- Working experience in Data science/ Machine learning
- Experience with analytical programming using Python, Scala or R
