Job Description

Our interdisciplinary Digital Innovation team drives digital transformation in various areas such as controlling, production, network management and logistics.

We use modern methods from applied mathematics, data science, computer science and automation technology. The main focus is on machine learning and big data analytics.

• In our agile project teams you will work together with our developers and stakeholders and develop end-to-end solutions, solve technical problems or support with data analysis.
• You design and implement batch and real-time data processing pipelines and systems in the Azure cloud that improve the extraction of customer and business insights from our data.
• You will also identify areas for improvement and simplification of our current system landscape.
• You take active responsibility for the quality and scaling of cloud solutions by applying best practices for continuous integration and deployment, automated tests and infrastructure-as-code.
• You ensure the availability of high-quality and high-performance APIs/databases for Industry 4.0 projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Above-average master's degree in (business) informatics, engineering, mathematics, physics
• Deep understanding of modern IT architectures for the provision of cloud solutions (especially IaaS & PaaS)
• Experience in the development and implementation of microservice architectures and in the development of security, governance and identity concepts in the cloud
• Extensive experience in data management, data streaming; Versed in handling databases (SQL and NoSQL) as well as Big Data and ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, Databricks/Spark)
• Proven Azure project experience and/or certifications in the field of cloud technologies and solutions in MS Azure (e.g. Cloud Developer, Cloud DevOps or Cloud Architect)
• Practical knowledge and experience with continuous integration and deployment cloud deployment models at enterprise level (public, private, hybrid)
• In-depth experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates
• Programming language skills in Python & JavaScript/TypeScript are an advantage
