Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Program Management leadership experience, including 15+ years of planning and leading medium-large sized programs or multiple smaller programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other quantitative field, or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree preferred
  • 6+ years of experience driving software technology-based programs and organizational change; strong proficiency in SDLC, especially Agile, required.
  • Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple locations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven creative problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Critical soft skills: collaborating, coaching, mentoring, influencing, emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to innovate under new and/or changing conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Own a strategy and portfolio of AI/DS programs that cross over multiple organizations or across Intuit. Collaborate closely with Vice Presidents and above regularly to accelerate outcomes.
  • Understand industry trends in AI and overall Intuit strategy and facilitate the creation, contribute to, and drive the execution of the program/portfolio strategy.
  • Identify when a decision or tradeoff is needed, drive discussions, assess options, and provide principled and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders for final decisions.
  • Execute against the plan and adapt to changes and pivots to ensure continuous and speedy delivery of business outcomes.
  • Establish and teach other program managers mechanisms for the team to identify risks and issues and present recommended response plans to stakeholders.
  • Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance independently, work well with others, and resolve team issues when conflicts arise: see opportunities, ensure alignment with objectives, find common ground, and promote understanding of alternative viewpoints before driving for closure and cooperation.
  • Quickly and effectively, identify and clarify the critical few issues and drive appropriate decisions and actions. Communicate results clearly and in actionable form.
  • Use data to assess progress to plan outcomes and use independent judgment to provide insights; communicate progress, trends, and insights to stakeholders.
  • Foresee the impact of changes and type of change (process, technology, and organization) across multiple functions and develop the change management approach and plan.
  • Evangelize change and contribute to the development of a high-performing team by partnering with leadership to create a culture where teams are encouraged to share information, constructively debate, and communicate freely.
  • Identify and engage with stakeholders based on the impacts of the change; generate broad executive-level support for the program/portfolio.
  • Define and implement program/portfolio frameworks best practices that are repeatable and embody continuous high-quality improvements.
  • Navigate many different program areas with ease, drawing from experience to accelerate outcomes, predict challenges, and prevent failures.
  • Coach and mentor Program Managers to grow their skills to create an environment where program managers can do the best work of their lives.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $192,500 - 260,500, Southern California $177,500 - 240,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
