Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

As a member on the team, you will help design a new platform that will bring novel artificial intelligence solutions to the operating room. Work with multiple teams to understand their projects and help build the best architecture to integrate their solutions into the new platform. Bridge the gaps between teams by making smart design decisions, write solid software design documents and assist the development teams with implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced business unit.
• Design software solutions from need discovery to deployment.
• Lead complicated workstreams with multiple development teams to build massive solutions from capabilities developed across Intuitive.
• Contribute to the overall system architecture by designing innovative solutions and translating these to design requirements and robust implementation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 7 years of software development experience
• Must have software architecture experience (as an architect or lead developer)
• Expert in at least one of the following: Python (preferably)/ C#/ C++
• Experience with distributed systems with multiple stakeholders
• Experience with developing multi-process desktop applications
• Experiences with modern SDLC (Git, feature branches, pull requests, code reviews, etc.)
• Experience with Messaging queues (ZMQ, RabbitMQ, gRPC, etc.)
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (Hebrew and English)
• Self-motivated expert that can lead projects.
