Job Description

We are looking for world class analytics talent to join our team of analysts to drive actionable insights across TurboTax’s web and mobile marketing experiences. We have an exciting opportunity to help shape how we use data and technology to reach our customers through personalized experiences across multiple marketing touch points. This role will partner closely with data scientists, marketers, and our digital activation team leveraging clickstream data to derive insights across our owned marketing channels to improve customer experience and maximize ROI.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience working in marketing, web, product, or other related analytics fields.
  • Highly proficient in SQL, Tableau, and Excel
  • Experience with multiple optimization techniques including AB Testing, Personalization, and Multi-Armed Bandits
  • Experience in modeling or business application/evaluation of machine learning
  • Comfort working with large data sets (i.e., clickstream) to generate insights
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and end to end quantitative thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and deadlines
  • Ability to tell stories with data; educate and motivate stakeholders to act on recommendations
  • Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Must be a proactive thinker, intellectually curious, and have a bias for action
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, portfolio prioritization experience, and accountability required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience; Master’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive data strategy and execution of marketing personalization efforts (onsite & omni-channel)
  • Identify and size new opportunities (year-round and as part of 1 & 3-yr business planning)
  • Partner with product, marketing, UX and tech teams to design and test new personalized experiences
  • Design new methodologies, experiments, & dashboards to ensure results are measurable and actionable
  • Enrich visitor-level data and enable new attributes & audiences for personalization
  • Collaborate with data scientists to identify predictive attributes & build ML models that optimize outcomes
  • Analyze results and generate insights that inform continued iteration of models / improvement in business results
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques and data mining to analyze and action on clickstream data
  • Represent analytics in evaluation of new marketing technologies (e.g. CJO, CDP, etc.)
  • Provide guidance and thought leadership to business stakeholders on how best to harness available data in support of critical business needs and goals
