Job Description

Included in an international team based in Lisbon/Porto but reporting to the central Data Scientist leader in Paris/Levallois, you will be a bridge between Python developers, Data Scientists and Machine Learning engineers. You will have two main missions:

• Supporting Data Scientists in the integration of AI Delivery ML Ops frameworks in their ML developments.
• You will help in the development of Python packages respecting standards and best practices
• You will review code of Data Scientists and suggest improvements
• You will be a representative of the ML engineering team in use and diffusion of the good practice

• Having a watchful eye on the RUN of the ML models in Production: incidents monitoring with one hand, ML models retrain and refactoring with another hand.
• You will be an entry point in incident declaration & resolution
• You will be a key people for the middle-term monitoring of ML models, through their functional (retrain) or technical (dependencies versions management & refactoring) monitoring & improvements.

Inside the Data Direction of BNP Paribas Personal Finance, AI Delivery supports Businesses and countries in their Data science projects, from the use case generation until the Move to Production.

This dynamic and international team, with its « start-up » profile integrated in a big bank group, gathers a team responsible of the Sparrow platform, Data scientist profiles experts in Machine Leaning (computer vision, NLP, scoring), an ML engineering center able to move ML models to Production, and a Product Growth Team.

AI Delivery offers to businesses and countries the Data Science PF platform “Sparrow’ (including, from exploration to industrialization, Sparrow Studio, Sparrow Flow and Sparrow Serving) and the InnerSource library “pyPF’ which facilitates Data Scientists developments.

Although being part of this team based in Paris/Levallois, the post is located in the ‘Analytics Hub’, an international innovative and creative team in Lisbon. It offers then the possibility to take advantage of both experiences and dynamics.

Are you the one we are looking for?

You have a Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field

You have a Professional experience of minimum 2 years and strong knowledges in Python, Data (Pandas) and Artificial Intelligence

You have appetences & expertise in software engineering and algorithm

You have experience in Python for dataScince and the use of tools like Scikit Learn, pandas, pytorch

You are regular users of development pipelines (Git, CI/CD)

You have appetences and knowledges in infra and cloud

You are fluent in oral and written English

Optionally, you have knowledge of oral or written French

You possess good skills in communication, collaboration, adaptability and initiative spirit, high focus on delivery, with a detail-oriented mindset

You want to play in a world where Python, Cloud and agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) are part of your everyday life
