Job Description

Our Reg Tech team within BNP Paribas Group Compliance is mandated to provide cognitive solutions based on Machine Learning, NLP around the fight against money laundering, terrorist financing, transaction filtering and the screening of customer bases.

YOUR TASKS:

• Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of existing models, whether through tuning the model, building new features, proposing KPI monitoring or improving the MLOps chain;
• Benchmark existing models via standard models (Random Forest, Neural Networks, Xgboost, etc.) but also explore the state of the art and test different possible models;
• Test and integrate model explainability modules (local and global explainability), prerequisites in our regulated activity;
• Complete each model with a model monitoring proposal (KPI).

On a technological level:

• You will be required to implement and run solutions in Python language on the group's Cloud platform;
• You will contribute to the different phases of data science projects from the exploratory phase of the project to its production launch and post-implementation monitoring;
• You will participate in the implementation of the project DevOps tool chain (CI/CD) and will increase your skills within a team of data scientists and data engineers who are passionate about data science.

Within the Technology & Innovation Office (T&I Office), you will join a multidisciplinary team of 40 people. The team's leitmotif: innovate to optimize Compliance processes by finding concrete solutions based on cognitive technologies.

Based at Millénaire 1, in a dynamic environment located in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, you will benefit from a user-friendly workspace in Flex Office mode, designed to make the employee experience as pleasant as possible.

Within the Reg Tech team, you will not only participate in AI and data experiments but also in projects intended to go into production: this experience will give you an end-to-end vision of the industrialization of AI and the challenges associates.

You will also develop your knowledge of the Compliance domain and its processes, and exchange with experts in these domains.

Knowledge of the challenges of Compliance projects and your expertise in data science will open up prospects for you in the management of AI projects within the entities of the BNP Paribas group, in France or abroad.
