Job Description

As a scientist, you will be required to work on various data science subjects related to the different businesses of BNP Paribas Real Estate. From collection to modeling to data cleaning

As such, your main missions revolve around the following axes:

  • Respond to requests from internal businesses to help them analyze their activities
    • Collect requests 
    • Identify issues and needs as well as key indicators
    • Appropriate the need and translate it into an analytics project
    • Identify internal and external data needed for analysis
  • Structure and gather data: 
    • Synthesize the data collected 
    • Enrich internal data with external data
    • Preparing data (cleaning, creating aggregates, etc.) 
  • Analyze data and build industrializable algorithms: 
    • Set up an analysis methodology
    • Build features and relevance analyzes 
    • Build machine learning models to meet business challenges
    • Control and pilot model drift 
    • Test, control the quality and consistency of results with the internal client
  • Demonstrate, through regular demos, the progress of the studies alongside the Data Science & Analytics and business teams
  • Participate in the Analytics Community bringing together analysts from other teams aware of data science

The “Data Science & Analytics Office” department plays a key role in controlling the data life cycle and in designing cross-functional solutions for business lines, functions and countries.

Rich in diversity and exchanges with the different business lines, functions and different countries, this position will allow you to establish a relationship of trust with your interlocutors, while developing your technical skills essential to the data scientist: analytical skills, mastery of algorithms, popularization and communication 

REQUIRED PROFILE

You have a Bac+4/5 training (engineering school or university), you have acquired solid theoretical knowledge in mathematics, statistics and you have already implemented at least one leanring machine algorithm. You have a good knowledge of databases in SQL, the jupyter notebook (or other Python IDE) and/or R.

You know how to show autonomy, initiative and rigor to carry out projects.

You have a strong analytical mind, you demonstrate autonomy and are recognized for your rigour, your ability to produce, synthesize and collaborate.
