Your daily routine ?

As a large, international and diversified banking group, an important and diverse scale of data will be your playground. In a star-up mode and within a dedicated data-driven environment, you will define the relevant technical approach in order to solve large-scale practical problems relating to the use of machine learning, deep learning, NLP. You will also leverage on the latest academic developments and contribute to the development and evaluation of these solutions (methodologies and algorithms). Last but not least, you will work on best practices in artificial intelligence that promote the appropriation of current data science technologies, particularly on topics such as explicability and bias measurement.

Our Risk AIR (Artificial Intelligence Research) team is uniquely positioned to drive BNP Paribas' digital transformation through the development of strategies and recommendations based on advanced analytical methods. Thanks to our positioning within the Risk Function, we have a transversal view of the problems and data in the bank.

The time spent at Risk AIR is spent using our knowledge and analytical skills to interpret large data sets and solve concrete problems of our businesses, functions and clients. Are you our next VIE Data Scientist ?

You have a Master degree or a PhD from an Engineering School or a University, majoring in Artificial Intelligence or Statistics. You have a solid proficiency in data science modeling. You have gained first experience (internships and work-study program included) in AI.

You speak fluent English and you have a very good command of computer languages (Python mainly) as well as knowledge of the standard libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras), data visualisation technology (PowerBi, Table) and database (relational, NosQL).

You demonstrate problem-solving skills and you are client-driven. Your enthusiasm to collaborate, to share your knowledge and your ability to adapt will be assets to progress on this mission.
