Job Description

Responsible for planning and managing data analytics that provide overall data management and reporting. Oversees the development of analytical tools and solutions to support the business line. Collaborates with management and business partners to identify business, technology, and process improvement opportunities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Actively participates in meetings with leadership and other stakeholders to review and discuss trends, issues and opportunities
• Identify key metrics that will effectively measure & communicate IT Service performance and drive business performance.
• Manipulates and analyzes large data sets to filter insights and help provide high-level, recommendations using creative, structured and analytical thinking
• Ensure data quality and integrity, review KPIs relevance, and develop dashboards for self-service and/or real time usage. 
• Delivers high quality analysis, reports, presentations using simple and effective visualizations that can be scaled for consumption by a larger audience
• Utilize data visualization tools to create reports engaging, clear, concise and convincing reports/dashboards that will suit and appeal to key stakeholders across the enterprise
• Perform statistical analysis to Identify correlations, patterns, and trends to solve challenging analytical Bank problems
• Decompose high level business needs into functional needs by understanding the problem and determining data needs
• Identify questions to be answered and define appropriate analytics models. Prepare relevant data sources for analysis
• Merges structured, semi-structured and unstructured data from several systems to highlight trend

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any of Data Science, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 
• 5+ years of work experience with data analytics or data science
• Must be skilled in the use of SQL, able to write queries. 
• Must be proficient in the workings of data technologies.
• Extensive experience working with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Industry experience solving business problems through application of innovative data and analytics approaches and emerging technologies
• Proven ability to produce clear, concise, engaging, and polished presentations & reports to all levels of the organization
• Working knowledge with Microsoft Office products and Office365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI), ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) Application plus
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time and priorities under pressure and meet deadlines

WORK EXPERIENCE

• P4 - 7 yrs Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Typically viewed as a specialist within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires 7 years minimum prior relevant experience.

SKILLS

• Excellent management and control of work flows to produce deliverables within required timeframes and quality standards.
• Excellent knowledge of project management and Microsoft Office tools.
• Understanding of style guides and editorial process.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
