Job Description

By acquiring a Data Science Laboratory, BGL BNP PARIBAS is showing its strong ambition in terms of developing and adopting new technologies. Strengthened by its partnerships with research and Fintech ecosystems, the bank has equipped itself through its Data Science Laboratory with a dynamic and innovative ecosystem around artificial intelligence aimed at optimizing the use of data while relying on the strong financial and technical expertise of its businesses.

Your mission will fit into this context and will consist of studying, proposing, prototyping and integrating Machine Learning solutions, MLOps applying to the various strategic Use Cases identified by the bank.

Your Mission will be organized as follows: 

• Develop innovative Artificial Intelligence solutions in an Agile context ranging from ideation, to the development of technical design, to the realization of the AI solution and its industrialization.
• Participate in the development of tools for simulations, experiments (stress testing, back testing, modelling, etc.) and monitoring of artificial intelligence solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous technological evolution of our DataScience environment by relying on our Fintech ecosystem as well as on the AI ecosystem of the BNPParibas group.
• Contribute to the bank's strategic transformation plan by facilitating the integration of new technologies when designing new products/services/processes for our businesses.
• Actively contribute to the bank's acculturation to new technologies in order to facilitate and accelerate their adoption.
• Actively contribute to our industrial R&D programs in collaboration with our research partners and participate in the bank's influence through the writing of scientific and academic articles.
• Ensure a continuous technological watch in collaboration with our research partners and our Fintech ecosystem.

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT 

You join the Data Science Lab team within the Transformation function of BGL BNP Paribas.

In your role, you will have regular and varied exchanges both within the Transformation and IT teams and also with university research centers.

YOUR PROFILE :

• Education/Professional experience: Bac +5 in science (physics, mathematics, computer science), ideally engineer profile, with minimum 3 years' experience in the Data Scientist field

• Technical skills :
• Major interest in the fields of artificial intelligence
• In-depth knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning algorithms, etc.
• Mastery of a programming language (Python, SQL, C++)
• Special interest in new technologies
• English proficiency
