Job Description

Primary job function is to assist in the development and application of state-of-the-art algorithms relevant to robotics and autonomous systems.

Particular focus is on machine learning, computer vision, and motion planning algorithms.

Tasks will include the development, implementation, and evaluation of algorithms for autonomy in the real-world, such as for manipulation and navigation. 

Required Skills:

Experience in one or more of the following: robotics, machine learning, or optimization.

Familiarity with Python. Solid understanding of basic concepts in robotics.

Experience using machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.

Experience in any of the following would be valuable: Motion/Path planning for robotics, navigation for autonomous systems, machine learning, computer vision (e.g., object detection, object tracking, semantic segmentation), software engineering is desired.

Required Education:

MS or BS in Computer Science, Statistics, EE, or Mathematics.

Special Requirements:

U.S. Person status.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position $35 - $50 per hour.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific range during the hiring process. 

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
