ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Primary job function is to assist in the development and application of state-of-the-art algorithms relevant to robotics and autonomous systems. Particular focus is on machine learning, computer vision, and motion planning algorithms. Tasks will include the development, implementation, and evaluation of algorithms for autonomy in the real-world, such as for manipulation and navigation.
EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
Experience in one or more of the following: robotics, machine learning, or optimization. Familiarity with Python. Solid understanding of basic concepts in robotics. Experience using machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
EDUCATION DESIRED:
MS or BS in Computer Science, Statistics, EE, or Mathematics.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist in performing R&D in robotics and autonomous systems.
KNOWLEDGE DESIRED:
Experience in any of the following would be valuable: Motion/Path planning for robotics, navigation for autonomous systems, machine learning, computer vision (e.g., object detection, object tracking, semantic segmentation), software engineering.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required.
