Curate, develop, and sustain a wide variety of AI visual, symbolic, and physics based models and simulation environments for use in Reinforcement Learning (RL) and customer mission scenarios.
OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a senior simulation software engineer to help us develop the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies. AI/ML Scientists and engineers at HRL use our simulation software environments every day for training, operation, understanding, and advancement our customer’s mission and needs. As a senior simulation software engineer on the AI Engineering team you will be responsible for simulation software used to automate ML training, improve agility, support robust solutions, enhance our UX/UIs, create impactful demonstrations, and progress our research and algorithm development efforts up the technology readiness level to support our owners and customer missions and product lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Run simulations, perform experiments, analyze and track results, create dashboard reports, dataset and model versioning, interactive data visualization, and ML model optimization.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $200,000 + bonus + benefits.
