Job Description

Perform research and development in intelligence analysis, geospatial information, cognitive science, and other areas relevant to human-machine collaboration systems. 

Tasks may include the design, development, and data analysis involving GEOINT tasks and neurophysiological sensors, implementation of machine learning algorithms, and/or development of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) in a variety of applications.

Additional job functions include solving customer problems, writing invention disclosures, and publishing papers.

Required Skills:

Software programming, human subjects research, active participation in R&D team activities is required.

Research experience in one or more of the following areas: analysis of imagery and geospatial information, imagery intelligence, intelligence analysis, cognitive psychology (cognitive effects, mental and cognitive modeling, sensemaking), (neural) statistical modeling, machine learning, augmented reality (AR), and user interface (UI) development. 

Experience developing innovative solutions based upon the application of relevant research results from a wide variety of sources. Proficiency in Python, C/C++, C#, or Matlab. Experience in using statistical analysis and machine learning tools and packages.

Any programming experience with high-performance computing will be a plus.

Background in one or more of the following areas: geospatial intelligence, imagery intelligence, statistical analysis, and machine learning is desired.

Required Education:

B.S. or M.S. in Geospatial Intelligence, Computer Science, Applied Math, Computational Neuroscience, Statistics, Machine Learning, or related fields.

Physical Requirements:

Good communication (verbal and written) skills.

U.S. Person status.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position $35 - $50 per hour.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
