WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You’ll be based in our office in Budapest as part of GCI Analytics and Engineering teams. 

Our mission is to empower decision makers in the banking industry to stay competitive by providing innovative, client-facing data driven financial advice.

As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in packaging our unique corporate know-how into cutting-edge SaaS and BI products tailored to meet the needs of our banking clients. 

In this role you will closely partner with engineers, developers, and designers to translate product requirements into actionable plans. You'll collaborate on product design, development timelines, and technical feasibility.

You will engage with client support teams to gather feedback, identify pain points, and prioritize product improvements. You'll work together to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and gather insights for future product enhancements.

You will communicate product strategy, goals, and progress to partners and senior management as well as collaborate on resource allocation, budgeting, and decision-making processes to drive product success. 

You will partner with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designers to create intuitive and visually appealing product experiences; work with data analysts to collect and analyze market trends, and competitive insight and use this information to make data-driven decisions, identify opportunities, and refine product strategies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will join our growing team as Product Manager to build and execute product strategies. In this role you will partner with our clients, industry experts and software engineers to understand their product needs; define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap; conduct market research, analyze user needs, and identify opportunities for product enhancements or new product development.

You will develop and maintain product plans, including feature prioritization, release schedules, and resource allocation; work closely with development teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery; oversee the product development process, including defining product specifications, reviewing design concepts, and providing guidance to the development team; regularly track progress, resolve issues, and ensure the product meets quality standards.

You will plan and execute successful product launches, collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies, messaging, and promotional activities, provide sales enablement materials and support product-related sales efforts. You will monitor product performance, including user engagement, adoption rates, and customer feedback as well as analyze data and user behavior to identify areas for improvement and drive iterative product enhancements.

You will communicate product updates, progress, and decisions to various stakeholders and clients; effectively present product strategies and plans in meetings and presentations; stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices; conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify areas of differentiation and potential opportunities. You will support our clients in the adoption and operation of our products. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related discipline is required; a master's degree or MBA is a plus
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools, methodologies, and techniques; knowledge of data modeling, data visualization, machine learning, and statistical analysis is beneficial
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably with data products; big plus for experience in the banking or financial services industry
  • Ability to lead and motivate various teams, including engineers, designers, and data analysts; strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources effectively
  • Experience in developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps; ability to identify market trends, customer needs, and business opportunities; strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into product requirements; experience in gathering customer feedback, conducting user research, and leveraging insights to drive product improvements
  • Understanding and experience of cloud technologies like AWS or Azure
  • Motivated self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
