Job Description

Verily is a subsidiary of Alphabet that is using a data-driven approach to change the way people manage their health and the way healthcare is delivered. Launched from Google X in 2015, Our purpose is to bring the promise of precision health to everyone, every day. We are focused on generating and activating data from a variety of sources, including clinical, social, behavioral and the real world, to arrive at the best solutions for a person based on a comprehensive view of the evidence. Our unique expertise and capabilities in technology, data science and healthcare enable the entire healthcare ecosystem to drive better health outcomes.

Description

Nearly 10% of the human population is infected with a mosquito borne-disease each year, resulting in massive mortality and enormous economic loss. We are combining modern molecular biology with robotic automation to generate millions of sterile male mosquitoes that will be released into the wild to mate with females, causing a population crash that will ultimately break disease transmission cycles.

The Debug Project is looking to ramp up and expand our mosquito production systems, release, and monitoring both domestically and internationally. To drive this initiative, Debug is looking to hire a Machine Learning Software Engineer to help build software to orchestrate, facilitate, and analyze these operations.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
