Verily Israel has focused on problems in endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery, and is currently expanding this scope to include other biomedical problems of interest. Verily Research Scientists focus on critical biomedical problems that can be solved by the application of algorithms in machine learning, computer vision, and signal processing, including problems that involve the use of novel sensors. As a Research Scientist, you'll drive an applied research agenda and work hand-in-hand with teams in research and other product areas. You'll also actively contribute to the wider research community by sharing and publishing your findings, with ideas inspired by internal projects as well as from collaborations with research programs at partner universities and technical institutes all over the world. A Research Scientist is expected to be able to take part in the full life cycle of research development, from foundational publications to writing high quality production code.
