Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 30h/week.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • In your role as Data Engineer/Data Scientist (f/m/d), you will support the BPC (Business Performance Controlling) Head in designing and implementing the digitalization strategy within the TE Finance Community
  • Among other things, you will be responsible for the conceptual design and implementation of the digitization projects as well as the creation and implementation of trainings (including tooling/project management)
  • You will be responsible for driving forward the digitization topics of the commercial units and provide the main impetus for the further development of the tool landscape; you will also be responsible for the creation of meaningful dashboards as well as for the maintenance and further development of existing dashboards
  • You further develop controlling tasks in the digital age, e.g. by implementing robot-supported process automation and by optimizing with existing tools
  • You provide impetus for solution approaches and discuss these with internal partners. This includes the description and improvement of complex processes, as well as their visually appealing presentation and documentation

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a university degree in IT, business informatics, computer science or data science, ideally with a focus on finance/controlling
  • You can point to many years of expertise in an interface function between IT & Finance, or you have sound professional experience from the individual areas
  • You have very sound, long-term professional experience and further qualifications in this area, but no degree? Then we would also be pleased to receive your application
  • You have already successfully managed digitization projects and conducted user training - both in an international context
  • You have in-depth knowledge of cross-functional process topics and can also present complex processes transparently
  • You are an expert in Office365, Think-cell, Qlik Sense as well as SAP or SAP BW, HOP, preferably SAC and have sound programming skills (SQL, Python, etc.)
  • Applications such as KNIME, RPA or Celonis are familiar to you, ideally you already have knowledge in Valsight or Jedox
  • Data protection requirements, classification of data and reports as well as the corresponding documentation and authorization conception (also in connection with audits or the DSGVO) are familiar to you

  • You Big Data is your profession - database, database design and visualizations are your daily business
  • You have a very good command of German and English in order to be able to communicate easily with your partners - also in an international environment
  • You know what it means to convert business requirements into practicable IT solutions and are familiar with cross-interface solution options
  • You contribute new ideas, have the necessary prerequisites to familiarize yourself with existing digitalization topics and thus drive visualization and automation solutions forward in our unit
  • We don't compromise on quality - Personally, you are characterized by outstanding commitment and work dedication as well as flexibility and reliability
  • You convince with excellent teamwork skills as well as communication and coordination skills
  • Your profile is rounded off by strong analytical skills
  • Depending on your experience and qualifications, an increase of your tasks into the above-tariff range is possible

Depending on the experience and qualifications background of the applicant, task enrichment into the area above the general pay scale is possible.
