We are seeking a Data Scientist for Imperial’s Digital Accelerator's data science group who can solve business problems by leveraging machine learning, optimization and other analytical techniques in a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, strategic partners and subject domain experts
The Upstream Digital Accelerator (UDA) leverages the power of digital technologies to solve highly complex problems across Imperials' oil and gas operations spanning conventional, mining, SAGD and other thermal recovery methods.
Operating within an Agile framework, with multi-disciplinary teams, ideas from the business are quickly actioned and converted to usable products. To this end the UDA offers a fast-paced, exciting environment and access to a diverse set of problems. With access to massive data sets, immense computational power and challenging, previously unsolved problems, the UDA is an ideal place for a Data Scientist to push the boundaries of what they know and make real contributions. Furthermore, the UDA encourages its members to showcase their work to the data science and engineering communities through publications, conferences and seminars.

Eligibility to work in Canada
