Job Description

A member of Data Science and Analytics team interact with global user base. Responsible to support and enhance enterprise data models, integration and ETL activities on data platforms (i.e. Snowflake, Azure SQL, SAP BW).

Expected Level of Proficiency

Technical Skills

• Fluent written and spoken English: ability to articulate technical situations into easy to understand language
• Strong knowledge in SQL: 8+ years’ experience in relational database technologies. Ability to identify system bottlenecks and recommend solutions. Analyze production workloads and develop strategies to run cloud database with scale and efficiency. Experienced in cloud database turning, capacity planning, handling cloud spend and utilization. Experience in cross regional data replication and expert in data recovery feature.
• Experience in API development with C#.NET (or similar languages) and working on high quality and secure production environment
• Cloud fundamentals (Azure or AWS)
• Familiarity with SAP BW, SAP ECC modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, etc.) and business process (OtC, PtP, SC, Financials, PtA, etc.)
• Applied Knowledge of Business Intelligence technologies (HANA 2.0, BOBI, Tableau, Power BI, Azure, MSBI, BODS, BO IS, ABAP, SDA, SDI, SLT and SQL)
• Strong problem resolution skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Snowflake - experience in relational cloud based database technologies
• Data Integration and ETL solutions, preferred Microsoft Platform (i.e. SSIS, Azure Data Factory), Qlik Attunity and SAP BO Data Services (BODS).
• Experience in Agile development and working on an Agile team
• Experience in full cycle delivery of data warehouse projects

Soft Skills

• Experience interfacing with customers and ideating on solutions based in customer interactions (problems, bugs, enhancements) (must have)
• Effective communication and pair-based teamwork (must have)
• Ability to influence and convey difficult / technical concepts and work across layers of the organization to drive understanding. Presenting solutions in a demo setting
• Ability to maintain flexibility and patience with team members and customers
• Passion for learning

Job Role Responsibilities

• Participate in Physical model reviews with developers to provide inputs on improving data model / integration performances.
• Translate business requirements into analytics solutions ranging from data storage, ETL (extract/transform/load), and data modeling for business consumption such as reporting and/or visualization.
• Development of analytics solutions ranging from data storage, ETL (extract/transform/load), and data modeling.
• Work in Agile framework and ceremonies with PO/SM.
• Migrate on premise SAP BW into cloud data platform i.e. Snowflake and Azure SQL.
• Support and mentor less experienced team members.
• Explore and develop skills in new technologies according to technology roadmap
