We are looking for minimum 3 years experienced engineers with an emphasis on data engineering and data visualization to provide wells engineering support across ExxonMobil’s global portfolio. This position will also be able to interact with the broader data science and analytics career community in ExxonMobil India to share best practice, upskill on various technologies (Snowflake, Databricks). Job Role Responsibilities

• Code aesthetically and action-oriented visualizations of drilling, completion, and production data from multiple repositories to provide immediate insights
• Engage directly with key stakeholders to deliver on commitments and meet the requested intent of the requested insights
• Use a data visualization tool to solve complex engineering and commercial problems
• Create tutorials, SOP documentation, training material and case studies pertaining to data modeling and analysis
• Provide engineering recommendations in drilling, completions, and well performance area to ExxonMobil Wells teams based on data modeling and analysis
• Monitor drilling data and provide insights and recommendations based on analysis to help improve drilling efficiencies
• Contribute to various stages of analytics, model deployment and model maintenance
• Provide well surveillance to establish trends, recognize deviations, and identify data quality issues

Job Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree from a recognized university in data engineering, data visualization, or computer graphics design with minimum GPA 7.5 and above
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the Data analytics and visualization, upstream oil and gas production industry
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate critical design & operating parameters through data and trend analysis
• Experience in data extractions from different kinds of database like common O&G database, SQL server, oracle server etc.
• Good communication skills
• Experience of working in a collaborative, teamwork environment
• Knowledge of SQL and Python programming is Preferred
• Experience creating visualizations in spotfire is preferred
• Experience in wells design, well performance monitoring, troubleshooting, or optimization of well performance and well management preferred
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in videogame developer is preferred
• Experience playing video games, preferably online multiplayer games
• Experience in online multiplayer game visualization or data collation preferred
• Experience in programming languages such as Java will be an advantage
• Flexible to work in shifts ( 1.30 PM – 10.30 PM IST)
