WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY IN THE TEAM

In our Information Technology organization we are looking for a Data Automation Lead to work with Business SMEs to understand current end users work processes and data requirements, develop and build new solutions and support transition activities working with Data Engineers and Solution Architects. In the area of Supply Chain.

• Provide data analysis to business users with specific needs
• Propose scope of automation for each data products e.g. Inventory, Pipeline Schedule, Lifting etc.
• Recommend solution architectures, monitoring process and support models
• Work with automation team/developer to build solutions
• Maintain awareness of industry best practices and standards
• Collaborate with the team on larger features as well as work independently on smaller ones.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• College / University degree and/or technical diploma in IT or relevant field
• Preferably 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Good problem solving, planning and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and effective multi-cultural & virtual team work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
• Adaptability to changing priorities
• Ability to work with cross-functional IT and business teams

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES

• Programming languages: ABAP, Python, SQL
• Good understanding of ETL tools
• Good understanding of REST-oriented APIs for creating and managing data jobs
• Basic understanding of data warehouses and data lakes and how they work (SnowFlake and Hana)
• Configuration in BI
• Write clean, concise documentation
• Strong understanding of testing activities
