Job Description

Member of the Business Enablement organization supporting deep total system cost analysis and cost modelling across categories. Helps influence commercial strategies to drive value and capital efficiency while ensuring support of business objectives. Uses external data sources and tools, combined with team category knowedge to generate new insights and cases for change. This role works closely with category families, business partners, vendors, and financial and data functions. This role will also support skill building across Procurement on cost engineering, cost anylsis.

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Facilitate creation of high quality should-cost and total systems cost models, including cost tables and supplier level models
  • Lead agile cost sprints across select categories
  • Identify and access relevant actionable market intelligence, including data subscriptions/ external data
  • Challenge Procurement and business partners to achieve breakthrough savings
  • Develop and maintain prioritized opportunities (including strategy, schedule)
  • Support delivery of relevant KPI’s to demonstrate progress (prioritized categories) and outcomes (results)
  • Implement target-cost value chains
  • Conduct cost/ TSC training and coaching with Category Managers and Data & Analytics – make cost modelling and organizational capability
  • Build and maintain internal and external expert networks to support activities
  • Share learnings with stakeholders to support continuous improvement 
  • Participation in functional networks to continuously improve global processes and best practices in regards to cost engineering

Job Requirements

  • BS - Data Science/ Anaylitics, MS in Engineering, Supply Chain, or other applicable business degrees
  • Strong background in SAP and experience using analytical and data visualization tools
  • Proven leadership, negotiation and communication skills
  • Demonstrates stakeholder management across all levels of an organization
  • Extensive Cost Engineering/ Modelling experience in Oil & Gas and related industries
  • Dual technical knowledge across product categories and value chain
