Job Description

In this position you will be responsible for assisting with the software design and development of the next generation Qualcomm Neural Processing SDK and associated tools. You will have the opportunity to show your passion for software design and development with your analytical, design, programming, and debugging skills.

Responsibilities:

• Software development of the neural processing engine (NPE) and NPE SDK tools to support execution of the latest DNNs on Windows on Snapdragon
• Validate the performance and accuracy of your software through detailed analysis and test

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years Windows software development experience
• Experience with Windows application development (e.g. working on tutorials/examples and validating integration into Windows stack)
• Software development experience using C/C++
• Strong software development skills (e.g. data structure and algorithm design, object oriented or other software design paradigm knowledge, software debugging and testing, etc.)
• Strong communication skills (verbal, presentation, written)
• Experience with ONNX RT
• Experience with different NN architectures DNNs, CNNs, RNNs/LSTMs, GANs, etc.
• Linux software development
• Experience with FastRPC/MCDM drivers
• Software development experience with Python
• Ability to collaborate across a globally diverse team and multiple interests

Pay range:

$133,000.00 - $200,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
