Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
• 1+ year of working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.

Duties include the following:

• Support the establishment of a plan of record and work with leads to prioritize deliverables.
• Coordinate with PMO and engineering teams for transfer of technologies and features.
• Develop and maintain program progress dashboards including disciplined tracking of information and risks.
• Organize and lead inter-team meetings, to review program tasks to ensure resources are allocated as planned.
• Support technical leads in organizing scrums, standing team meetings and status reports.
• Support team activities for university relations programs and at academic conferences such as demo development and workshop participation
• Work with Program Management leadership to ensure best practices are applied and that program organization adheres to AI Research objectives and strategy.
• Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities across various corporate systems supporting or impacting the research organization.
• Coordinate with IT, Standards, and legal departments to facilitate team access to tools, systems and materials needed to support research.

Work Experience:

• 2+ years Engineering Lead/ Program Management experience or related work experience.
• 1+ years working with project planning tools and Gantt charts, etc.

Skills:

• Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Project, Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years of engineering experience in software engineering e.g., Systems development, Machine Learning, and DevOps
• 3+ years of Engineering Lead/ Program Management experience or related work experience.
• 1+ years working with project dashboards and Gantt charts, Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence etc.

Pay range:

$120,000.00 - $180,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
