Job Description

Job function: AI/ML

• Skills/experience:

Very strong in C/C++ & Python programming, good knowledge in algorithm development. Expertise with at least one machine learning framework like TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX etc. Experience with embedded systems development or equivalent. Understanding of software development and debugging in embedded environments. Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, written).

• Responsibilities:

Enable pre-trained AI models on Qualcomm AI hardware accelerators. To develop demos with pre-trained models for respective use cases on Android/Linux. Optimize model execution time on CPU,GPU/DSP, to meet customer criteria.

• Educational requirements:

Bachelor's/Master’s in Computer Science Engineering, or

Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• • 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with neural network frameworks and model formats such as PyTorch, ONNX, and Tensorflow. Experience in enabling machine learning models on AI accelerators using OpenCL, Hexagon and Neon intrinsic. Experience with full model development, training, and validation pipeline phases. Knowledge in mathematical operations: linear algebra, fast math libraries. Good understanding on image processing concepts and frameworks like OpenCV and Matlab etc.
