Job Description

We are looking for software engineers with verification, testing, and machine learning experience to join a new machine learning verification team. The Machine Learning Verification team will be responsible for creating system level test plans, unit level test plans, triaging and debugging fails, writing robust and maintainable python tools, and verifying our product meets customer requirements.

We need expertise in testing, random testcase generation for software, python tools, ML, and MLOps. Team members will be expected to advocate for best practices and strive for robust, maintainable code, but also a willingness for writing one-off disposable code when required by schedule pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive verification plans for machine learning models, including unit testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to design and implement verification processes that meet the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, and security.
  • Write robust, maintainable, and well-documented code to implement verification processes and algorithms.
  • Develop and maintain verification metrics and benchmarks to measure the performance of machine learning models.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with machine learning models, developer tools, and work with data scientists and software engineers to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that verification processes are integrated into the overall software development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in machine learning, verification, or a related field.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong programming skills with a history of writing unit tests as part of delivery requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, or history of learning new languages quickly.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts.
  • A deep curiosity to learn more and dig into details about new and complex problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
