At the Bietigheim-Bissingen site, we are looking for talents who will successfully drive the growth and further development of our LiDAR products with us.

These challenges await you:

  • Carrying out analyses of systems/subsystems and specifying requirements to optimize the system architecture
  • Model-based development of simulations to verify requirements and coordinate modelling and simulation tasks across sub-system boundaries
  • Definition of interface requirements to other subsystems and development of verification and validation methods
  • Cross-functional validation with the technical experts of different departments
  • Lab testing, field testing and performance validation of the system
  • Communication and coordination in interdisciplinary cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure the delivery of new standards as defined in the approved project scope
  • Patents application on technical innovations or innovative usages
  • Interface with the customer for the technical subjects, break down and cascade internally customer requests and needs
  • Support Project teams at the customer for presentations of the technical solutions once IP protection is certified
  • Support Project teams for proper applications of the standards

You inspire us with that:

  • Successfully completed degree in engineering or equivalent
  • 3 to 10 years of experience in product design activities
  • Enjoy understanding highly complex systems and developing creative and successful technical solutions
  • Experience in the field of complex integrated hardware and software systems (optomechatronics)
  • Sound knowledge of algorithm and software development for computer vision, object recognition and machine learning
  • Hands-on mentality with willingness to spend time in system’s trial and testing
  • Experience in requirements management / requirements engineering and relevant tools such as B. IBM DOORS or Enterprise Architect
  • Experience and knowledge of product development processes
  • Communication skills, team spirit and a confident demeanor
  • Very good English skills, German desirable
