The Cergy R&D center is attached to the Business Group Powertrain Systems. This entity develops innovative solutions to reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and pollutants, without compromising comfort and driving performance.

Within this site, we are looking for a Software Engineer (F/M).

Your Missions :

- Scope: new generation of PEPS (passive-entry-passive-start) and remote control (ECUs and sensors) systems compatible with smartphones and smart keyfobs. It mainly involves Bluetooth LE, NFC and UWB radio access technologies on the car itself, as well as smart devices (smartphone) as complementary peripherals, and cloud connectivity and processing.

- In collaboration with the Algorithm and Systems Engineers, R&I Technical Manager and Software Engineering Specialist, the candidate will help define the training environment and scenario, analyze the data resulting from the measurements (mainly from car or smart device sensors, camera, etc.), propose methods to process them (supervised ML, Classification, SVM, etc.) and extract valuable information (trajectory, zoning, etc.), evaluate their relevance and their characteristics (limitations, latencies, etc.). ). Part of the work involves coworking with algorithmic engineers and embedded software engineers to validate the integration.

- The work includes development/integration and validation performances via non-regression/convergence tests .

- Cross-functional joint work is also required with other product teams to share experiences, reviews and the latest cutting-edge methods.

About you …

• Engineering degree, excellent software skills, AI orientation
• Experience in a highly technical field or similar
• 1-5 years, ideally with good training.
• Passion for software and new technologies, with significant ancillary projects (AI, ML, robotics, IOT, open sources, etc.) will be studied.
• Meaningful projects using Python, Tensorflow, RUST/Perl/Java are a plus.
• Skills of expertise: Algorithms, Deep learning, Data analysis, Software engineering methods.
• Agile methods, Extreme programming
• Learning: TensorFlow is a must (H2O, Pytorch Kera, Knime: desirable)
• Languages: Python
• C/C#, Rust/Perl/Lisp/Java/bash : desirable
• Specification methods/tools: UML, Enterprise-Architect, Rhapsody...
• Skills and understanding of operating systems: Windows, Linux
• Internet: IOT, OSI model, TCP/IP ...
• Knowledge of Cloud/Cybersecurity/Android/IOS is desirable.
• Good communication skills and willing to work within a team.
