Job Description

We are an automotive supplier, a partner to all automakers worldwide. As a technological company, we design innovative products and systems that contribute to reduction of CO2 emissions and to development of automated driving. In our Research and Development center in Prague we employ seven hundred engineers. They are those who stand behind the latest systems of active safety (ADAS) and autonomous driving. What does it mean? Software, hardware engineers, together with mechanical designers, test and system engineers develop sensors and systems for safe and comfortable driving. Automated parking systems, automated emergency braking, blind spot detection and road sign recognition are just a few examples.

We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning (ML) engineer to support our industrial ML team. Our responsibilities comprise the evaluation of ML use cases, the development of software solutions and the deployment of the solutions into a mass production environment.

Your challenges:

• Support the team of Machine Learning engineers, and coordinate the ML projects within the industrial team
• Analyze industrial big data and perform predictive maintenance, energy consumption optimization and scrap reduction of our industrial sites
• Develop Machine Learning apps and the related software environment (GUI, Data streaming, Docker, Databases...).
• Research, experiment with, and implement suitable ML algorithms and tools.
• Analyze the problem-solving capabilities and use-cases of ML algorithms and rank them by their success probability.
• Design, develop, train and re-train Machine Learning systems, and deploy them into production.
• Explore and visualize data for better understanding and identify differences in data distribution that could impact model performance when deploying it in real-world scenarios.

• Advanced degree in Computer Science/Math/Statistics or a related discipline (masters degree or higher)
• Advanced Python skills
• ML (Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch,...)
• Advanced math skills (statistics, bayesian statistics, linear algebra, time series analysis...)
• Data handling skills (Data visualization GUI, Docker, Data streaming technologies...)
• Databases (MS SQL, Oracle, Google Big Query,...)
• Teamwork
