As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll be part of an international team of smart, highly skilled experts. We design and implement models which enable our clients to answer their most important business questions based on NielsenIQ’s unparalleled data.

What you’ll do

• Devise, test, and implement approaches from the fields of machine learning and statistical modeling to meet commercial requirements
• Stay abreast of developments in the area to ensure bringing the most appropriate solutions to our business
• Collaboratively manage projects from timeline creation to project completion, managing expectations with leaders and colleagues around the world
• Actively participate in international, interdisciplinary project discussions with colleagues from commercial, operational, IT, and management departments
• Document tests and implemented approaches, provide material, and run sessions with IT and operations to hand over new approaches into production

We’re looking for people who have

• 3 or more years of applicable experience in areas like statistical modeling, data mining, predictive analytics, machine learning
• Experience modeling fast-moving consumer goods and their sales
• Proficiency in Data Science tools like Python, PySpark, DataBricks
• Experience working with a development team to deploy models in cloud environments
• Strong problem solving and communication skills, independent working style
• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business
• Minimum B.S. degree in Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, or Econometrics
