Job Description

Working together across functions, our Consumer Insight Data Science’s team looks and analyzes the data, so that the result will give insight to field and quality control team for them to evaluate the performance of their resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works on sample design, advanced data analyses following standard processes with minimal supervision (after training) or for non-standard projects with some supervision. Examples may include, but are not limited to: complex sample design, correlation, regression types; factor analysis, segmentation, conjoint and other group-specific advanced analyses.
  • Provides output of statistical outputs to internal clients in simple, non-technical language.
  • May work with the client service teams on a variety of study roles, including but not limited to:
    • Develop study analysis plans
    • Prepare study designs and sample size estimates to support client proposals
    • Provide analytic support for use of models on study deliverables
    • Other study roles particular to group
  • Co-ordinates with different teams when required on project flow and to ensure timely deliverables
  • May guide and train junior members of team as need may arise in standard statistical and analytical techniques
  • May train non-technical colleagues in statistical and analytical techniques
  • Works on development and implementation of a new statistical model and improvement of an existing model.
  • Performs analysis of data by editing existing programs as necessary.
  • Takes responsibilities that are more non-standard in nature based on the team’s need and delivers on them

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Psychology, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Must have strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented and multi task oriented.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with co-workers.
  • Must have experience in running statistical analysis on statistical packages like SPSS, Python, R, SAS.
  • Experience in programming such as VBA, C, Python or R is preferable.
  • Good organizing and planning skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills in Vietnamese and English
