Customers use Autodesk software to design and create the physical world that we live in—from complex structures like tall skyscrapers, to strong bridges, to modern cars and even eye-popping movies. Autodesk ML Platform helps enable and integrate AI and machine learning solutions into our software products that improve the design and creation process.

The Machine Learning Platform team is looking for a driven and passionate Product Manager who can work in a strong team environment. You will join the new engineering team to build the next generation platform to enable artificial intelligence & machine learning solutions to enable new capabilities & insights into Autodesk products and services. You will play an important role in building an infrastructure with diverse tools enabling data engineers, researchers, software engineers and DevOps to collaborate as part of the ML development lifecycle from feature engineering, model training & evaluation, deployment and running prediction services. You will partner with teams from product engineering teams ranging from construction, manufacturing and entertainment.

What You’ll Do 

• You will dive deep intoproduct teams to understand their specific needs, pain points, and goals. 
• You will evangelize and champion AI/ML as state of art approach for product teams to build smart solutions
• You will creatively ideate on ML solutions to solve our customers’ problems.
• You will help develop the vision and roadmap for our next generation ML platform.
• Build a plan and roadmap with engineering teams to realize your vision in concrete phases.
• You will look for innovate ways to empower data scientists and ML engineers to utilize state-of-the-art techniques in AI and ML to develop and deploy machine-learning solutions in Autodesk products and services.
• You will work with Research to help bring AI/ML models out of the lab and into the hands of Autodesk customers
• Help standardize & drive adoption of our ML platform within Autodesk
• You will help collect use-cases and translate them into platform requirements across heavy industries like construction, manufacturing and entertainment.
• You will Influence key decisions on architecture and design direction to achieve scalable, reliable, and cost-effective AI/ML solutions
• You will collaborate with other PMs to help prioritize AI/ML onto product roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications

• BS/BA in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience working as a Product Manager
• Experience building AI/ML related products or platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience/familiarity with one of the mature ML platforms in the industry such as SageMaker, FBLearner, TFX, Michelangelo, Cortex etc.
• Previous experience partnering with cross-functional executives and management across a globally distributed organization and exercising sound judgment
• Deep knowledge of and experience working with a diverse group of engineers
• Someone who loves to learn, and is passionate about AI/ML
• Experience with data science and AI/ML at scale
