Job Description
We are currently seeking a Data Scientist to join our People Insights team to build and evolve a world-class people analytics function at Autodesk. This is a critical position within our People & Places (PPL) organization responsible to help drive our mission to empowering employees to achieve the new possible through actionable insights from data for better decision making
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the full spectrum of people analytics research projects and experiments in collaboration with business leaders and partners across the People & Places organization
- Proactively provide business insights and recommendations for key business questions related to our people strategies and talent outcomes
- Responsible for creating data models to predict the workforce insights and to analyse the trends for the workforce decision-making
- Conduct analytical research studies and establish predictive analytics related to recruiting, retention, growth, performance, team effectiveness, and leadership effectiveness connected to business needs
- Produce compelling data visualizations that both inform and influence executive business and talent decisions
- Create compelling enablement content so that other business leaders and HR Business Partners can incorporate insights
- Consultative individual with the ability to interpret the data and engage the business through effective storytelling
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters or PhD degree in Computational Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or related fields
- 8+ years of experience in the field data analytics with preference given to analytics experience in people and talent programs
- Ability to build complex statistical model using R, Python or other similar languages
- Experience developing tools, conducting research and sharing of best practices in at least three of the following areas: employee engagement, learning and development, performance management, diversity, compensation, or retention
- Ability to extract data from various sources using SQL
- Experience using systems like Workday, ServiceNow or Data Visualization tools like Tableau
