Job Description

In this role, you'll get to:
- Guide the technical direction of ML technologies to transform the team support service into a fast and experience.
- Identify ML opportunities for improvement and new ideas within Atlassian products.
- Work with an experienced team of experts (Product Managers, Designers, Data scientists, Architects, and Developers) to bring ML algorithms to customer-facing features.
- Accelerate the growth of ML teammates through guidance, feedback, leading by example, tech design & code reviews, and brownbag sessions.
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 4+ years experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist.
- Experience as the subject matter expert in applying modern ML/DL to solve NLU problems.
- Experience leading ML projects, working in collaboration with other team functions.
- Proficiency in DL frameworks (Tensorflow ).
- Experience mentoring teammates.
- Good collaboration.
It's great, but not required, if you have:
- Masters in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of SaaS industry with experience shipping customer-facing features.
- Experience building production-ready end-to-end machine learning pipelines.
