Our Team

We are the UI Platform Customer Value Measurement and Intelligence team. The UI Platform organisation builds the tools, libraries and infrastructure that powers the development of Atlassian’s web applications. We give Atlassian teams everything they need to build web experiences that our customers love.

The Customer Value Measurement and Intelligence team is focussed on building tools that help developers measure, analyse and improve the performance of their experiences. As well as we apply ML and generative AI capabilities to improve developer productivity. Our platform is leveraged by our biggest products including Jira and Confluence. There is no such thing as a slow productivity tool, so our team’s mission is critical to Atlassian’s success! This is a growing team with plenty of opportunity to deliver big impact.

On your first day, we'd love for you to have

• 5yrs+ experience of building modern data driven applications utilising Machine Learning and/or Generative AI ecosystem.
• 5yrs+ experience with open source ML libraries like pyspark, mllib, scikit-learn, langchain.
• Exposure to capabilities of Generative AI models like chat-gpt, llama2.
• Experience working with ML Platform and infrastructure like AWS Sagemaker, LLMOPS/MLOPS, Vector Databases.
• A passion for utilising ML techniques to solve customer problems.

It's great, but not required if you have

• Knowledge of open-source libraries, tools, and frameworks (e.g. for logging, wiring, testing, building)
• Some industry experience with public cloud offerings (e.g., AWS, GAE, Azure)
• Ability and willingness to learn new programming languages, frameworks, and paradigms
