Job Description:

Developer - Data Engineering (Bangalore)

Data Engineer (Data Warehousing) to understand the data, develop data pipelines and build data models to deliver insights to the business with experience in SQL and good understanding of data.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and supports Datawarehouse models based on extracts from various sources based on functional design specifications
• Reviews business requirements, helps to create functional design and develops technical design documents
• Understands the functionality of business processes and data that will be required to build, test and implementation
• Participates actively in local and global teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technology from an accredited university or equivalent with the background in Mathematics or Statistics
• 4-6 years of experience in data warehousing particularly on Snowflake, SAP HANA or relevant data platform technologies
• Expert experience in Snowflake modeling, advanced SQL scripting and performance tuning
• Experience in Relational Databases and concepts
• Extensive working knowledge on various processes including sales, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, master data etc.
• Detail oriented, self-directed and have strong independent problem-solving, analytical, and multi-tasking skills with English fluency
• Certification in Snowflake, HANA or AWS or Azure Data Modeling is a plus
• Working knowledge in Python is preferred
• Have a strong background and interest in technology
