Job Description

  • Leading initiatives in the space of Data Automation to automate and improve production lines
  • Proposing and building manufacturing data architecture for the plant, work area, line (machine, edge, cloud) in cooperation with the global teams
  • Implementation of tools for data acquisition, automation, visualization and reporting
  • Lead complex data automation, integration and visualization projects involving other engineers and cross-functional team members
  • Drive data analysis (including real-time data) to look for opportunities for improvements through historical data and failure analysis and predictive/AI/ML solutions development
  • Collaborate with other team members on data flows and opportunities for mathematical and statistical model development
  • Cooperate between IT and OT to drive effective, secure and sustainable solutions
  • Closely cooperate with various functions locally and globally
  • Support and drive IT/OT standards adoption and implementation across the plant

Required qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering or science (Control Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automatic Control and Robotics or derivative)
  • 10+ years of Industrial and data automation experience
  • Experience of work in a complex manufacturing environment
  • Experience in building manufacturing data integration environments (machine, SCADA, MES, ERP) to drive improvement projects
  • Knowledge of DCS systems and SCADA platform (Aveva)
  • Programing and configuration of PLC’s and HMI’s (Rockwell and Siemens)
  • Experience with control and measurement sensors and apparatus
  • Competences in the area of Databases, SQL, HTML, programming languages (like C#, Python, JavaScript), data acquisition systems
  • Understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Knowledge of reporting tools (Power BI) and data visualization concepts
  • Understanding of AI/ML/Digital Twin concepts
  • Basic knowledge of network components at the machine, process network level and industrial communication protocols – EtherNet/IP and Profinet
  • A few years’ experience in project and team management using both waterfall and agile methodology
  • Presentation and communication skills, experience in communication at various levels of organization (peer, management) in both Polish and English
  • Experience in working in multinational environment
  • Willing to develop and learn, keen to experiment with new technologies
  • Self-motivated, energetic, honest and representing “Can do” attitude
