The Opportunity
AI is a significant growth area for FT. While FT's initial steps in this were more exploratory and driven by innovation. This has led to a significant increase in demand for our AI driven capabilities across the globe. We are making investment in AI research as well as management of digital/AI driven products. We now plan to build an AI driven platform that underpins our global digital/AI offerings.
As the Head of AI Platform, this role will oversee the conceptualization, architecture, build and maintenance of the AI platform. Generative AI will play a key role in the capability set. The role would lead the architecture of this platform, the MLOps and LLMOps processes, and the integration of capability sets by multiple technology, AI/ML and LLM providers. The role would also oversee the due diligence of any digital partnerships and strategic investments.

Compensation Range: Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. The salary, benefits and variable rewards will reflect the seniority of the position and a competitive market rate. We expect the salary for this position to range between $200k - $300k.
