POSITION SUMMARY:
OSAM is hiring a Senior Front Office Software Developer (Senior Quantitative Developer) to join our Research / Quant Technology team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a passion for solving business problems with technology and possess strong programming experience along with leadership or managerial experience. This hands-on role is responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining a firmwide research, investment, and trading data-rich platform supported by applications, APIs, and visualization tools. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to interface directly with OSAM’s research team and CIO.
We expect the position to sit in Stamford, CT or New York City with a hybrid work schedule (partially remote) but may be open to hiring in other geographic locations.

Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the base salary for this position to range between $150,000 - $200,000 per year plus other incentives including discretionary bonus.
