Much of our activity is carried out by participating in European and state projects, where the innovation component is a very relevant factor in the development of pilots along with the integration of new technologies. This contact with the latest trends and solutions enables us to collaborate with different areas of Telefónica when defining the next steps in the networks of the future. 

Operationally, we leverage technologies that are transforming the way connectivity is offered - 5G and 6G, Cloud Continuum and Edge Computing, network virtualization and programmability, and artificial intelligence - with a focus on accelerating the arrival of these to the market. technologies in Telefónica products.

As a candidate, you will be part of the technical team that will work to achieve the commitments that we maintain both with European projects and with the different areas of Telefónica. 

OUR MISSION 

The operation of 5G/6G networks requires deep knowledge of mobile networks. To simplify this operation, it is necessary to design automatic configuration, monitoring, repair and optimization processes. 5G/6G networks are complex infrastructures that include radio heads, virtualized RANs, VNFs running in public and private clouds, and different SDN intelligent network layers. This infrastructure conglomerate generates a large amount of information that can be processed by AI/ML algorithms that could enable the aforementioned automatic processes, facilitating the real-time operation of the network, even reaching a certain level of predictability.

We are looking for someone willing to learn different technologies, restless and with an open mind. We are looking for a profile that likes challenges and solving problems. Someone who finds it easy to learn, who is not afraid to leave the comfort zone regularly, who is a good team player and who can work autonomously. 

The ideal candidate should have a developer profile, with some experience in frontend development with React, but without fear of developing a backend with python, learning about AI/ML or collaborating with the DevOps team on very varied tasks.

LEVEL OF STUDIES

Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or other training if you provide development experience with an all-terrain profile. 

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Experience in the software development life cycle and release management. Knowledge of SSDLC is desirable. Desirable knowledge of Prototyping.
• Experience in developing open API Architectures with Python - Data Science Languages. 
• Knowledge of Programming - Full-stack web architecture. React - Front-end framework development. Front-end languages.

• Valuable experience in cloud platform management
• Valuable experience in the Kubernetes ecosystem - Container management and organization
• Valuable experience in Security Architecture. 
• Valuable experience with open source software
• Basic knowledge of Networking is desirable: Architectures, Network Protocols (3GPP, Network level 2 and 3) 

• Optional: Knowledge about Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning and libraries

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years in development tasks desirable.
