What's waiting for you

  • Independent development of prediction models for energy demand and consumption, as well as for price developments on the energy market, including the development of optimization algorithms
  • Responsible for collecting energy company information and applying machine learning techniques to recognize energy-related data patterns and develop solutions
  • Create data visualizations and reports to communicate key insights and recommendations, including creating KPIs
  • Independent forecast and budget tracking for energy supply including risk assessments and target/actual deviation analyses, as well as regular review and coordination of purchase quantities and price suggestions with the respective energy suppliers
  • Optimization of existing work processes and further development of controlling systems for forecast and budget tracking for energy supply
  • Project management of small or sub-project management of larger projects in the responsible subject area with regard to energy topics (e.g. PPA), energy efficiency, new technologies or planning the energy budget
  • Contact person for team members and other departments if you have technical questions about the area of ​​activity

What you bring with you

  • Studies in energy technology, industrial engineering or economics with a focus on energy markets, energy and environmental management or a comparable qualification
  • Min. 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of energy management and/or finance
  • Detailed knowledge of environmental and energy management and an affinity for technical topics
  • Analytical mindset with a foresight into cross-team business processes and company procedures
  • Very good negotiation and communication skills, responsible and results-oriented way of working with a high level of initiative
  • High commitment and willingness to perform, commitment, proactivity and flexibility
  • Strong agile mindset and willingness to take responsibility and make decisions 
  • Very good Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
