Job Description

The Data Manager Officer is responsible for defining and managing the deployment of the “Data” strategy within the bank, in compliance with the Group’s “Data” strategy.

Its main missions revolve around the dimensions of management, analysis and use of data, its objectives are to:

  • Drive continuous improvement of data quality;
  • Contribute to the development of data uses, while respecting the Group's principles of data security and protection;
  • Promote “Data” culture

Main responsibilities:

  • develop and manage the “Data” roadmap within the SGA, in particular by formulating data requirements as part of the drafting of IS master plans;
  • ensure the implementation of the principles of governance and architecture, methodologies and data tools defined by the Group;
  • manage actions for prevention, correction and maintenance of data quality and also ensure regular updating of controls relating to data quality;
  • sponsor or play an active role in projects around data warehouses and data lakes;
  • also ensure compliance with the principles of architecture and data quality for new IS projects;
  • identify regulatory themes, banking and non-banking, having strong impacts on “data” subjects and participate in defining action plans accordingly;
  • promote the “Data” culture by participating in internal governance bodies and group data bodies 
  • lead the “Data” community within the bank.

POSITION-RELATED SKILLS

  • BAC+5 engineering school/computer science training
  • Significant experience in large transformation programs
  • Expertise in statistics and applied mathematics: statistics, optimization,
  • Good knowledge of the world of BI and the Data, Big Data, Data Management, Data protection, Data Science & Data Preparation professions
  • Good knowledge of Banking professions
  • Good knowledge of project management and the Scrum, Agile Method
  • Knowledge of fundamentals related to design and production methodologies in terms of IT deliverables
  • Knowledge of Data analytics and new Data technologies
  • Good command of written and spoken English
