Within Société Générale, you will join the Risk Department, which is at the heart of the Group's activity with the main mission of contributing to the development of businesses and their profitability through the implementation of risk appetite.

Working in the Risk Department means:

The internship will take place within the team in charge of counterparty risk.

Concretely, under the supervision of your tutor and/or manager, you will be required to:

• Data Processing: industrialize the process of extracting, transforming and loading risk data in its entirety, in Python and/or via the SG cloud infrastructure, using several APIs;
• Data Visualization: carry out analysis reports on the various global risks via Excel and Power Bi Cubes, for the part;
• Data Science: develop continuous risk monitoring (Machine Learning, statistics, etc.) in order to detect abnormal behavior in the portfolios of all types of clients;
• Participate in the design of the target process and its evolution.

AND IF IT WERE YOU ?

• You are a Bac+4/5 level student at University, Business School, or Engineering with a specialization in Market Finance.
• You have good knowledge of financial mathematics.
• You are proficient in database management tools (Excel, Access) and comfortable with programming languages ​​(Python, VBA, SQL, etc.).
• You demonstrate a curiosity to discover R and Matlab.
• You're fluent in English! You are our ideal candidate!
