Within the Société Générale (SG) Group, you will join the Inspection and Internal Audit Department teams. Our main mission is to support businesses in their development by helping them to control their risks. Our independent and strategic positioning allows us to provide the bank's management with a vision of risk management and the Group's operational efficiency. We are also one of the reference points for the supervisory authorities. By joining Audit, you will integrate an experience accelerator course in a dynamic environment and work on a variety of missions which offer access to top management, proximity to the professions and an exhaustive vision of the banking challenges. In addition, you will develop your skills in data analysis, real added value in our practices. The experience acquired will open up numerous opportunities for development within this department and more generally within the Société Générale Group.

More specifically, you will join the audit department of Retail Banking in France which brings together the audit of the activities of the Société Générale network, Boursorama and transactional banking activities (cash management, trade finance, factoring, means of payment, …) of the SG Group.

Concretely, you will be required, under the supervision of your tutor and/or your manager, to:

• Obtain a global and transversal vision of the Retail Banking professions and the Transactional Banking professions
• Demonstrate a collaborative state of mind in a dynamic of teamwork, mutual support and exchanges with various stakeholders (particularly in the areas of legal, compliance, counterparty risks)
• Provide added value to different professions, through the search for DATA solutions or innovative approaches
• Participate in a global specific training program dedicated to audit techniques, the risk-based approach, data analysis and management throughout your career
• Participate in internal projects based on your interests (Innovation Center, Data Science Center, Recruitment, monitoring of BCE/ACPR recommendations, etc.) You will also have the possibility of advancement to a junior auditor position at the end of the work-study program. . 

AND IF IT WERE YOU ?

• You will prepare a BAC +5 in University, Business school or Engineering school with a specialization in Audit. 
• Ideally, do you have initial experience in internal audit, Banking/Finance, consulting firm or in the retail banking environment? It’s all to your advantage! 
• You demonstrate critical thinking and are proactive.
• You can communicate conclusions effectively, both written and orally (French and English), and demonstrate conviction to deliver key messages.
• You are recognized for your interpersonal and collaborative qualities, you have a taste for teamwork while being autonomous on the subjects entrusted to you.
• You are rigorous and methodical in carrying out the tasks assigned.
• You have the intellectual agility to move from one subject to another regularly, propose new and innovative ideas, change teams/managers for each mission.
• You demonstrate critical thinking, you are rigorous and methodical in carrying out the tasks assigned.
• You have an appetite for data analysis: mastery of data analysis tools (Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI) and/or Data Science (Python, Knime, etc.) would be a plus.
• Does occasional travel throughout France not scare you?
• You're fluent in English! You are our ideal candidate!
